I’m Jordan Nowlin, and I’m a Director, Producer, & Writer with experience managing and directing a nationwide team of creators — both full time employees and a network of highly skilled vendors — to craft award-winning content. My background in creative development, scriptwriting, and account management informs my drive to approach every project with empathy, structure, and flexibility.
Ok, I know it’s trite but I truly LOVE stories, and I consider myself a storyteller at heart. I wholeheartedly believe that every project, no matter the industry or scale, is about story. My goal is always to match the heart of the story in question with the proper mode, genre, or medium to tell the truest tale that evokes the strongest reaction. Whether it’s crafting a brand-defining national ad or drafting a few lines of copy for a social media ad: finding and effectively telling the story is everything!
My passion for story paired with a keen eye for detail (and a little bit of luck) have afforded me some amazing opportunities so far in my career. As the Creative Director at ECG Productions, I’ve been lucky enough to act as Show Runner on the award-winning series Taste the Culture, to win 3 separate Addys writing and directing for employee development heavy-hitter Skillsoft, and to produce the first ever recruitment video for the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. Just to name a few accomplishments.
When I’m not writing, directing, or creating, you’ll more than likely find me either cooking a meal with my beautiful wife, cuddling with my two cats, Peanut & Butters, or reading somewhere warm and adjacent to a body of water.
